FOREST COUNTY, WI -- The Potawatomi Business Development Corp has acquired the Advancia Corporation, a provider of IT systems, engineering, systems analysis and research to the federal government departments of defense and homeland security. The tribe intends to add the new acquisition to its current group of companies, which include OneProspect Technologies, HCI Logistics and Potawatomi Design Group, an architecture firm. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Funding for the acquisition comes from the tribe's gaming operations, which include the Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee, WI.
